Shizaru was a contemporary art gallery in London's Mayfair district. Launched by the Khalili brothers, the gallery provided a multidisciplinary platform for artistic dialogue with a commitment to showcasing contemporary work that engaged with craft, whether through celebration, subversion or redefinition.
Managing the gallery's media, interns, and vendors included writing press releases, designing catalog books and invitations. POUR invited viewers to experience New York based artist Holton Rower's vertiginous vision in the United Kingdom for the very first time.
The curatorial programming brought an ever evolving array of talent from stonework sculpture, photography and taxidermy to Europe's top jewelers.
